SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO..... Last week members of my service club decided to do a New Year's project: to go to the University Hospital of the West Indies' Children's Ward to read to the children, present them with happy new year cards (keepsakes) and to just spend some time with them. I hadn't heard about it until a day or so before, but I decided I had to go because I absolutely love children; and I love going on these outings with the club.

I got this line from a song that was popular way back when, when i was a child (kidding, it really wasn't that long ago..lol).. however I have shared the video just so you can get some perspective (and just for a bit of a distraction it really isn't related to the blog post).

So I didn't make a Christmas post, so it must be about that right? On the other hand I didn't make a new Year's Eve post, and it is New Year's Day so it could also be about that.... As well as, it could be a completely random post, because enough people saturate us with posts on 'special' days.
